A Man after God’s own Heart. (series)

Join us this evening at Bible Study as we continue on in our 12-week study series on the life of King David titled, A Man after God’s own Heart. We will be studying Part 10: David & Bathsheba: When Kings Fall. Our anchor text is 2 Samuel 11:1-27 (NIV).

In the last nine sessions, we have studied the life of David, the shepherd boy who became a king. We have explored how the fear of God guided him through the wilderness of His life; how God sent helpers of destiny to him, and he grew in favor before God and men. David was a successful King, and he had the badge of honor of being called “a man after God’s own heart” 1 Samuel 13:14. However, David the anointed King fell into moral failure in a season of his life when he was experiencing tremendous peace and power (comfort).

In today’s bible study, we will examine how David fell into sin that left a major consequence in his life and family. Join us as Pastor Bimbola Lawore facilitates the study this evening.
